When TCE finds it, you see a list of all installed versions. Select the version, you are using and TCE will monitor this installation.

GAME LANGUAGE: Select the language of Elite: Dangerous®, you are using. The setting is required to setup EliteOCR properly, if installed and used. If it is not installed, you don’t need to adjust the setting.

GAME PATH: The path is automatically set, if you have selected a game version, but you can point TCE to the installation path of Elite: Dangerous®. Click the button at the end of the row.

Keybinds Edit

L Keys

The KEYBINDS window allows you to select a key for an action.

TCE FOCUS: If Elite: Dangerous® has the focus, there is no mouse pointer shown to operate TCE, so with pressing the selected key, the mouse pointer is shown again.

TCE HIDE/SHOW: If you are in a combat situation or other trouble, you can hide the complete interface of TCE. Press the key to hide or show the interface.

OPTIONS: By selecting a key, you can open and close the Options panel with the key.

EDMC CONNECT: If EDMC is installed, you can here select a key to let EDMC connect to the official Companion API. This is only available at registered trade markets.

OTHER KEYBINDS: These keys are used to quickly open or close the appropriate panel or window. They are global hotkeys, so a selected key can be locked, when typing.

Database Edit

L DB

This window allows you to take actions at your local database.

TRANSFER: You can transfer a database from an outdated TCE Mk.II version. Select the installation folder of the outdated TCE Mk.II and will show you the contents of the remote database. By default, all databases are selected for the transfer, but you are free to select the database, you want to transfer instead of all.

VERIFY/REPAIR: A check is performed on the selected databases and shows, if a data error resides in it. If so, TCE can try to repair it afterwards. If TCE can’t repair it, it will offer you to replace it with a clean database.

RESET: You can reset the selected database with the default, clean database.

CREATE: Creates a backup of the complete database. Select a name and store it.

RESTORE: Restores a created backup and overwrites your current database. Select the backup, you wish to restore.

DELETE: Deletes a created backup from the stored location. Select the backup, you wish to delete.

TCE-Relay Edit

L Relay

With a click on the button the TCE-Relay window opens. Here you all can update the prices of your registered markets at your database or create a starter database, if your database is empty. In addition you have some parameter to adjust for the starter database and update prices operation. Range of markets, distance to main star and include planetary markets or not and maximum of price age on price updates.
